Contains extracts from the 1861 Census on aspects of Berkshire life including: Area, Physical Geography, Parliamentary Divisions, Population of towns, Education, Crime, Births Marriages and Deaths (including the number of illegitimate births!) Paper size 18.75 x 13.25. Tightly trimmed at base, holes at top where sewn into atlas (well clear of printed area.)
