Marie de Duchess De Chevreuse, House of Rohan antique print published in 1801 in Thomas Pennant's 'Journey from London to the Isle of White'. Marie de Rohan (Marie Aimée; December 1600 – 12 August 1679) was a French aristocrat, famed for being the center of many of the intrigues of the first half of the 17th century in France. In various sources, she is often known simply as Madame de Chevreuse. Paper size 12.95" x 9.75" (310 x 240mm). A scarce Georgian antique print. Note: Shadow does not appear in the original which is in EXCELLENT condition.
